II-8 Pipe Organ Rebuilding & Enhancement
Shiloh Baptist Church - Old Site

Shiloh Old Site Baptist Church in Fredericksburg, VA celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2004 and we were proud to complete the rebuilding and expansion of their sanctuary pipe organ. The original organ, a 1925 Moller, was removed in 2003. It consisted of 6 ranks and 15 stops plus couplers over two manuals and pedal. We were asked to add a true reed stop and to provide greater organist flexibility and unification at the console. The church, being a historic space, also asked that we reconstruct the original facade and historically restore the finish on the 39 large visible "dummy" pipes.
The organ was voiced to seamlessly join Shiloh's large and diverse musical program, covering the musical spectrum from traditional Gospel to contemporary hymn singing and secular performance. The console and relay system were rebuilt and updated with new solid state technology, expanding the stop list to 8 ranks and 35 stops plus couplers. The console also contains:
